First on the scene. Last to leave.
PSP & Veterans don’t respond to stressful situations as others do.
They tend to run toward stress, but too often their stresses cannot be seen, making it very difficult to deal with effectively.
Through unique ways of treating these issues we help them work through what they need to become whole again. We teach resiliency skills and other coping strategies to better equip participants to deal with OSI, PTSI and all other related injuries.
By its very definition, the term PTSI (Post-Traumatic Stress Injuries) is a non-clinical term that encompasses a range of mental health injuries, including some OSI (Operational Stress Injuries), clinically diagnosed Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression- often as a result of any persistent psychological difficulty resulting from operational duties such as law enforcement, combat or any other service related duties.
